Philips HP4944/00 Hair Dryer Review and my horrible experience with Amazon

I shampoo my hair twice a week and never wet my hair except those two days in a week.It helps to maintain the natural oil in my hair.I always blow dry my hair in cool setting after towel drying my hair.I never allow my hair to dry naturally because it takes about two days to dry itself completely if I don't blow dry my hair.My sinus increases if I keep my hair wet for long and I also feel that keeping hair wet for long causes a lot of hair fall.After I came across the advertisement of Ionic Philips range promising shiny hair I decided to spend a little extra money on buying a new hair dryer.I must say that I'm glad I decided to do so.But my shopping experience with Amazon was the worst this time.

I bought the hair dryer from here .I bought it for Rupees 1,653 few days back but now this is available at a more cheaper price on offer.I payed for the order online on 14 July 2014 and within two days they promised to deliver the product on 17th July 2014.From 17th July I began getting the update that the delivery will be one day late.There was only this update available instead of me requesting to the customer care to state a proper delivery date.I thought I won't ever get this product and requested them for money back.They said that money back is not possible until the product is with the courier system.Well that probably means it can stay with them for life long and I won't get my money back ever?Anyways,a person named Salman from Amazon customer care promised me that I'll receive the product within 24th.When I saw the same update till 23rd I decided to to contact the customer care again.They told me that the product has been delivered by either any of my family member or by my neighbors.I told them that I was at home all day and I cannot ask each one of my neighbors for that dryer.If by any chance the courier people would have given any of them the product why on earth will they give me the product back?It's their responsibility to call me and deliver the product at my doorstep.Anyways!I don't know why that girl from customer care gave me that fake news.On the tracking history I was getting the same update that the delivery will be one day  late.Lol!'One day late'?I also saw another update informing me that the product has been received by the local courier system on 23rd.Finally I received the product on 25th!I opened it and I was relaxed seeing that the product is new and without any damage.Enough of talking about Amazon!Now lets read the product review below.

My Experience with the Product

The product is absolutely true to its claim.This is the best hair dryer I have ever used! It leaves my hair shiny and manageable.I hair has become softer and shinier after I have started to use this.The blow dryer provides intense burst of air which has decreased the time of my blow dryer at an amazing rate.Even the cool setting makes hair dry very quickly.It has three heat settings.One is cool setting for regular normal drying and setting any style after hot blow drying,medium heat setting and the highest setting for styling.I use the cool setting a lot and love the dryer for how amazingly it dries my long hair within a very short time.Even when I use the high setting the blow drier causes much less hair damage and dryness.

I also love the look of the dryer.It is in smooth black and golden color.It has a narrow nozzle used for focused drying and styling but one can use the dryer even without the nozzle.Before buying this I thought it would be very heavy and I'll have problem drying my hair with the heavy blow drier.But nothing like this actually happened.It is very easy to told and I find no problem while drying my hair with it.

It comes with a simple little pouch for storing the dryer.The dryer fits into the pouch very easily.

It comes with two years warranty.
